Just a moment ago, my youngest son, Ben, asked me how I stopped smoking so out of the blue. He doesn’t remember the things I went through. I read about the side effects of smoking and really didn’t believe that Nicotine withdrawal will impact on me so seriously. Now, because I know what I went through, I want to educate everybody about problems that they are going to encounter. So, if you really want to quit smoking cold turkey, you need to be aware of the problems that you are probably going to encounter in your journey. Remember one thing, you have a choice, you have all power that you need to decide if you are going to live a life of your dreams. Are you going to enjoy health and prosperity, or are you going to enjoy them even more?


For a start, I want to talk a little about Nicotine and what kind of effects it has on human body. Nicotine is a drug. When you inhale smoke, you get Nicotine in your lungs. From there it is bonded with blood cells and by blood stream it is transferred through your whole organism. There are two biggest problems with Nicotine. In order to understand quit smoking side effects I need to explain them to you. So, the first problem is that Nicotine replaces Oxygen spots in your blood cells, so because of It, you are getting less oxygen in your body and getting more poison. The second problem happens when Nicotine comes to your brain. Brain recognizes Nicotine as a natural body product and it produces better and faster connection in your neurons. That basically means that your brain sees Nicotine as euphoric drug, and it creates sensation of some kind of happiness. Of course, that it’s a false feeling. Now, I will tell you what side effects you may have.


You will encounter 2 types of sensations- physical and mental. Don’t get me wrong, but you can solve all problems with your mind. If you really decide to quit smoking cold turkey, nothing will stop you. But still, I want to tell you a little more about the addictions. Both addictions result in some kind of annoyance. And they can be divided in two groups. Some of them last first couple of days (1-3), while others last a couple of weeks (1-3). You can easily encounter dizziness. I have already explained what you should do, so for that info go a couple of pages back and read. You will encounter many more problems. Usually, they are: depression, irritability, headaches, feelings of impatience, frustration and anger, constipation and gas, cough, dry mouth, nasal drip and sore throat, anxiety and many more problems. Now, if you really want to quit smoking cold turkey, all these quit smoking side effects will be minor to you.


There are many things that you can do in order to minimize these transient problems that you have. In the previous post I talked about things you can do, so go back and read it for more info. I can only hope that you find my research helpful.

PostHeaderIcon Quit Smoking Cold Turkey: Additional Resources


We have already established that smoking is just a habit. And many possible reasons why you chose to do it. And what you should do in order to change that. Now, I want to talk about additional resource that can help you in your life path. By that, I mean all things that can help you in your way of quitting smoking cold turkey. I will share my experience with many different products that I took and I will tell you the results that I had. But be aware, I am only sharing my own story, and it’s quite possible that things that were bad for me, may work for you. So on the recommendation of my wife I went to the market and bought healthy filter for cigarettes. It worked well, but the main problem wasn’t its efficiency. The problem was that I enjoyed smoking. Although I knew it was a bad habit, I still loved it.


And that filter was killing my pleasure. After 10 smokes I trashed that shit. I was angry at the sales manager for providing me with the stupid crap that was minimizing my fulfillment with every smoke I inhaled. So I went to see a psychiatrist. And after a couple of sessions I found what the problem was. It was the association with cigarettes that I had in my mind. I found that I was free while I smoked! Now, when I write this, it sounds hilarious. So I went to a hypnotist and asked for help. So he hypnotized me. After I woke up, I knew that nothing changed. I don’t really believe in hypnosis, so I started to chat with the dude.


I found many useful things that ultimately changed my standing ground about smoking. So how does hypnosis work? I have no clue. But I know that every human has his own perception of reality. If you are like me, now, you are asking what the F. that means? Well, it means that all the actions that you do result in your beliefs about the world. So, actually I know what I needed to do. I needed to change my beliefs about smoking. And when I changed my view and the stand point on cigarettes, everything changed. I don’t want to smoke anymore. Yea, the change wasn’t easy, I had crises, but with simple techniques of this dude, and a couple of mine, I managed to quit smoking cold turkey.


Now, by additional resources, what do I mean? All resources that you need are inside you. You really don’t need anything more. Nicotine patches and gums, these are all crap. Because that stuff only hide your desire for pleasure. That stuff doesn’t really give you any cure. It only masks your problem. And I don’t want those kinds of results. Because of that, there are many people that went back to smoking. They didn’t manage their emotions about smoking, they just hid them with some help. I hope that this is useful to you, as it was to me, when I first heard this.

Hi Guys! I wanted to share some more stuff. So here I am. My only goal is to explain what powers habits contain. It’s been here all your life. In order to change your life, and quit smoking cold turkey, you really need to be aware of your habits. You need to find out if they have good and healthy impact on your life, and if they don’t, what actions you need to take in order to change them! I have already told you what you need to do. Now, I will tell you why. Human mind is a slave of habits. Stop, and think about

your whole life. Think about what you are doing right now. What you did 5 years ago… In order for that action to become part of you, it needs to become a habit. Daily routine or weekly routine… So Humans are operating in that order. What is that fact telling you right now? Every action that stuck around with you is a habit. So in order to change some unhealthy habits you need to replace them with the good ones that you like.

One of the best tools that helped me the most is one type of hypnosis. While all hypnotists are going to tell you that every hypnosis works, I don’t share their beliefs. But I do know one thing- how you can use part of hypnosis to help yourselves and structure some of your own beliefs. Let me explain. Right now, you have an inner monologue with yourself. Every action that you take in your life is guided by beliefs that you have about the world, about yourself, about others…about everything. And as a result of those beliefs you got a monologue that is guiding your actions. The best thing that I found about this matter you can find here, right now. Feel free to enjoy every aspect of it.

So, by this I mean that somebody, somehow told you, consciously or unconsciously, that cigarettes are all that you think they are. Maybe you see them as a stress relief, or maybe you see smoking as freedom. Or, as a result of media, you got an idea that by smoking you are the man. It’s something that you need to figure out. You need to find what courses your habits that result in smoking cigarettes. Right now, quitting smoking cold turkey means that you need to find this out. For now, this is it. So smoking is just a nasty habit. You need to change everything in order to change yourself. I will give you some basic things that can help you so you can do it easier than I did it. First, it is important to make a decision to quit. Stop everything, sit down, take a piece of paper and a calendar, write all reasons why you are quitting smoking and circle that date on the calendar.


Next, take all cigarettes that you have in the house, in your car, in all places that are your usual places of living, and trash them all. Even the lighters. The best thing would be to walk a couple of streets and throw them in a dumpster. You should start exercising regularly, and by that I mean that every morning you should wake up in the same healthy time from 7 to 9 and start your day with some 15 min workout. I strongly recommend 5 Tiberians workout, but if those exercises are too simple for you, you should go to a nearby gym and start some serious working out!


Be aware of your need for cigars. When it strikes, you should go and chill out, walk, or go jogging. The best way to minimize this is by staying busy all the time, so if you don’t have some hobby, I strongly recommend that you should find one!


The worst time is when you get an urge to smoke. So our goal is to minimize that. One of the tricks is to always get busy. So beside the workout, you need to make your mind busy with something. I don’t mean to go watch TV or something similar. I mean to find some kind of hobby. Go do some modelling, or buy a pet, or go socialize, organize some house parties, just take your life in your hands and enjoy it.



There will be times, when the urge is so strong that you think you are going to puke if you don’t take a smoke. Well, the good stuff is the additional recourses that can help you to mimic nasty habit but with more healthy results. We will discuss that in our next chapters. For now, just enjoy your healthy breath, enjoy your commitment, and enjoy being you. If you find yourself in distress, just don’t forget- drink water, do some workout, go chill out, go for long walks, or anything else, really, as long as it keeps your mind busy. Hi guys! I have just wanted now, right now, to tell you something that may change your life! If you are a committed person and you have read all my previous posts, you could find out many reasons that can help you and guide you so you can quit smoking cold turkey easily. There are many reasons why you could be here. Maybe you are scared for your health, or maybe you are scared for your family like I was, or you saw what kind of poison cigarettes are. I hope that right now, you found reasons that make sense to you. I can’t know your reasons; I just hope that I helped you in answering all the stupid shit that is needed for you to make a choice. So, I think, by now, you have made a choice, and you are ready for life of freedom and prosperity! So let’s begin.

So I hope that you have made the decision by now. In order to quit smoking cold turkey, you really need only one thing. You need to make a decision to stop, to discard all cigarettes, to trash them. Yea, it’s hard, mainly because your body is used to nicotine. But only if you make a choice, is this shit happening. I can only tell you one thing, my motto is: MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. Now it’s up to you to choose you way. Hope that you choose health over poison; I hope that you choose the right way.
